Mootools vs Prototype

I’ve started using mootools as of the past month.  I like it, but then again I also enjoy prototype.  I started using prototype since it was the first one i had come across as far as an AJAX framework, so thats what i used and what I knew.  I was a little tired of having to rely on outside  sources for some of my desired effects.  So I did a little research and a little demo previewing and decided I try out mootools.  So far so good, it has pretty much all the same features I was using in prototype, but also came with the effects I was looking for without having to attach several other files.

The learning curve is a lot easier with mootools than when I started learning prototype.  Mainly because it had documentation, which prototype now has, but still not nearly as nicely laid out and a community forum backing like mootools.

movin’ on up

Ok, it’s been a while… I was promoted to the assistant manager position at the Springvale store location. Which is a forty minute drive from my house. I’ve gotten used to it now. I like the store and the people, but i do miss the ten minute drive home i had when I worked in Scarborough. I’ve been working quite a bit, so I’ve been very tired and haven’t done anything more then sleeping and working lately. I was waiting for my body to adjust, which is has and I’m pretty much back up to par again.

Other happenings:

My band, Our Last Stand, has been dismantled and we’re all taking a break and looking into new ideas and new arraignments and so forth – more on this will come.
